Just celebrating 27 years with AANEM in October of 2014, Kathy is in charge of planning the annual meeting and facilities planning for AANEM. She also conducts facility site visits and outreach along with travel arrangements. She was educated at the University of North Texas and has a BS in Education. For 35 years she owned and operated a Buttonwood School and worked as a meeting planner at the same time!
AANEM was founded in 1953. We are a nonprofit membership association dedicated to the advancement of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and electrodiagnostic medicine. Our nearly 4,500 physician members — primarily neurologists and physiatrists — now are joined by allied health professionals and PhD Researchers working to improve the quality of medical care provided to patients with muscle and nerve disorders.

Jeff Hewitt CDME, Vice President of Business Development and Destinations Services for Visit Savannah has over 25 years of hospitality experience. Jeff’s history includes senior management positions with Visit Charlotte and Visit Tampa Bay. He’s also worked on the hotel side with Marriott and an independent luxury resort. Jeff servers on numerous boards and committees and is actively involved with DMAI, ASAE, PCMA, IAEE, MPI, GaCVB and GSAE.
