So what do planners say is the one thing that is absolutely the MOST MADDENING?
Where does Meeting Planning Madness occur?
Well in this tournament, the madness occurs in four different regions:
- Region 1: “On the Job”, meaning it just comes with the territory.
- Region 2: “Salespeople”, I think this region is self-explanatory.
- Region 3: “Who to Trust” and the maddening things that just chip away at that relationship.
- Region 4: “The Find”, consists of maddening situations surrounding the time consuming and often frustrating experience of finding the venue that meets your needs.
How will the 2015 Most Maddening Champion be crowned?
With a little help from a few of our meeting planning friends, who were already in their own madness zones, we narrowed down the list from a million to the 16 “Not So Sweet” things that drive planners mad. These 16 things are presented to you in an online bracket format (similar to that popular basketball tournament going on right now). You, the meeting planner can then vote in four tournament rounds, between March 16th and April 3rd. On April 6th, the 2015 Most Maddening Champion will be announced. Is this fun or what?
